Ashley is our Assistant to the Regional Manager.
Ashley is probably one of few people you’d meet who loves data entry and paperwork. She loves working amongst these educated women, it’s such an amazing environment. In her free time, Ashley loves family time, roller skating, decorating weddings, and staying active.

Krystin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia.
Krystin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Christopher Newport University and her Master’s Degree at Regent University. She has a background in community-based services, clinical supervision, private practice, victim advocacy and crisis intervention. She also has experience working with military families and understands the unique issues they face. Her specialties are complex trauma, EMDR, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. She utilizes an eclectic approach to come up with the best course of treatment for her clients, often a mix of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy. She can also assist with gender-affirming care letters. In her free time, she loves to read, exercise, love on her animals and spend time at the beach.

Sheila is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia.
Sheila holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP accredited), a Master’s in Developmental Psychology, and a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Walden University. Her primary specialty includes anxiety, depression, trauma, neonatal/prenatal/postpartum mental health, traumatic childbirth, difficulties in maternal bonding, and issues of attachment. As a former nurse midwife intern, Sheila witnessed the impact of unresolved mental health issues which ultimately sparked her interest in education on mental health. She utilizes person-centered counseling, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, and mindfulness based techniques to aid clients coping mechanisms. Sheila has an empathetic approach that makes her easy to talk to and is also EMDR certified. She is passionate about quality mental health services and knows, due to firsthand experiences, the growth and outcomes one can achieve with mental health services. During her spare time she likes to travel, get lost in the nature, and watch serial killer documentaries.

Islam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia.
Islam earned her Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has 15 years of experience working with adult survivors of abuse and 12 years of experience working with the military population. Her areas of specialty include: complex trauma, crisis intervention, domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma-informed care, relationship issues, self-esteem, and child abuse. She uses an eclectic approach when working with clients that is strength-based and person-centered. She believes it is important to meet clients where they are and walk the journey with them to where they want to be. She is an advocate at heart, and is passionate about empowering her clients to recognize their strengths, abilities, and help promote their overall well-being and quality of life. She focuses on developing a trust-based, therapeutic alliance that facilitates positive change and helps clients reach their goals. During her free time she enjoys time with family, coffee, and traveling.

Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia.
Liz has over 13 years of experience in the mental health field in outpatient, community-based, and inpatient treatment settings. Liz received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Virginia Tech, second Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services at Old Dominion University, and her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Liz utilizes a person-centered, eclectic approach to best meet the needs of her clients, with tailored interventions to address various issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, interpersonal issues, and self-esteem. Liz is passionate about providing a safe, trusting, nonjudgmental environment where her clients can be themselves to facilitate change and support clients in achieving wellness goals. Liz is available for in-person and for Telehealth options to offer flexibility. She is also trained in ketamine assisted therapy. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her chickens, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, spending time with others, and enjoying outdoor activities. Liz also loves dinosaurs, laughing, and her dog.

Stephanie is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia.
Stephanie is a proud military spouse residing in Virginia Beach. Stephanie earned her master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from the Troy University FL region in 2007. She has worked with diverse populations in several settings, including inpatient centers, community mental health, and in schools providing counseling and behavior modification techniques for caregivers. Stephanie has vast experience working with persons with severe mental illness, including Bipolar and Schizophrenia diagnoses. Her specialty, however, is working within the perinatal mental health community. Stephanie received her PMH-C certification through Postpartum Support International in 2023 and specializes in working with birthing persons and those impacted by PMAD’s (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders). Stephanie is proud to have been a volunteer with Postpartum Support International. Additionally, she has advanced training with Karen Kleiman, LCSW, a perinatal mental health expert and author who pioneered the model of intervention, The Art of Holding Perinatal Women in Distress which provides advanced training in the clinical expertise and therapeutic strategies for the treatment of PMAD’s. Stephanie utilizes an eclectic approach with her clients and seeks to provide a warm, authentic space. She enjoys using techniques based in ACT, IFS, CBT, and DBT. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading thrillers, watching scary movies, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide in college football!

Becki earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University and Bachelor of Social Work from Virginia Wesleyan University. A Navy Veteran and retired Navy spouse, she experienced military life first-hand. Raising 3 children through over 9 deployments, she recognizes the need for a supportive community. Sometimes that support is in the form of a counselor. Her passion is to support people through challenges in life, whether they are related to work, school, family, or personal experiences. She has a person-centered, strength-based, collaborative approach to counseling. She works with people of all ages, acknowledging challenges faced at every phase of life and that these challenges often overlap. She supports and assists people and families with figuring out their goals and works together to accomplish those goals.

Olivia earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Maryland Global Campus in 2014. As a licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia with over 4 years of supervised outpatient counseling experience and training, her clinical experience includes adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups, and diagnoses such as ADHD, PTSD, and anxiety, depressive, mood, and personality disorders. Olivia believes that her clients are the experts of their experience and she prides herself on providing an empathic, supportive environment that encourages honest self-exploration, personal responsibility, and the replacement of maladaptive cognitions and behaviors that hinder personal growth. She lives in Norfolk with her husband, who is retired Navy, and son, who is currently at the College of Charleston, and their three dogs. Anna has experience working in many settings, including the local community services board, in-patient psychiatric centers, and community-based agencies. She enjoys working with all populations and specializes in substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and other life stressors. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to help clients to achieve their goals and make positive changes to better their lives. Kendall has experience working with adults in in-patient psychiatric settings, physical rehabilitation settings, and community-based agencies where she used leisure activities and experiential learning to promote emotional and physical well-being. Ash is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia.
Ash strives to help clients learn to thrive in a world that wasn't designed for them. They specialize in working with the queer, neurodivergent and ENM/polyamorous communities and come from a place of lived experience within those communities. They use an existential, humanistic approach, incorporating evidence-based practices such as DBT and EMDR. Ash has experience working with complex-trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, impulse control, executive functioning, and many other challenges that come with the niche diagnoses that they serve. Win received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Christopher Newport in 2018 and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University 2020 and has worked in various settings such as pre-k through 8th grade, high schools, outpatient therapy, and acute psychiatric care. All of these settings are driven by Win’s initial MO: to help others. Ryane Montes-Torrey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and an IACCT Assessor that has over fifteen years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families with complex emotional and behavioral needs. She specializes in completing level-of-care and IACCT assessments to help ensure youth receive the most appropriate, least restrictive services to support stability and long-term success. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in Texas. She is currently in Phase Three of her Play Therapy Certification, further strengthening her ability to engage and support children through developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approaches. Ryane’s professional background includes work in group homes, community crisis services, community based services, outpatient therapy, school-based programs, and with military families. She brings a compassionate, strengths-based approach to every assessment, helping families feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate the behavioral health system. Outside of work, Ryane enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, reading, staying active, and embracing life with humor and heart.
